ALHAJI ABDULKADIR AMINU (BOT) CHAIRMAN

Alhaji Abdulkadir Aminu was appointed as Group Executive Director, Corporate Services NIPCO Plc, after the completion of acquisition of majority shareholding in Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc. He is also a Non-Executive Director ,11Plc and a Director NIPCO Gas Ltd. wholly owned subsidiary of NIPCO Plc making remarkable contributions to harnessing the nation’s   gas resources.

He was formerly the Executive Director, Corporate Services NIPCO and the National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria [IPMAN].

The astute Oil and Gas Marketer is presently the Chairman Board of Trustees (BOT) of IPMAN, the highest policy making organ in the Association

Alhaji Abdulkadir Aminu, a Civil Engineer of high reputes and was one time Chief Engineer of Adamawa State.

Before his recent appointment, he had chaired the Adamawa State Task Force on petroleum products distribution through which he ensured product availability and stoppage of sharp practices at filling stations across the state.

He had served on the boards of several regulatory agencies in the petroleum sector including Petroleum Products Pricing & Regulatory Agency [PPPRA] and the Petroleum Equalization Fund [PEF].

He is the Chairman of A A Mbamba Ltd with scores of service stations in the country.

Alhaji Aminu who holds the revered chieftaincy Title of “Walin Adamawa”, is unassuming, quite, strong believer in team work and has to his credit distinguished accomplishment.   

The Oil and Gas mogul served his fatherland under the Palliative Committee during the Olusegun Obasanjo presidency, where the committee was mandated to cushion the effects of the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

Dr. AbdulKadir is affiliated to numerous professional bodies and has earned a variety of recognitions from different associations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), the Chartered Institute of Commerce (CIC) the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IoD), as well as Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
