The National President

Prolific National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Comrade (Chief) Abubarkar Maigandi Shettima is a thoroughbred strategic activist whose leadership know- how has set beautiful trends and yielded developmental results across facets.

His mercurial administration has not only sustained the mandate of IPMAN, but has also presented it on a pedestal of global reckon.

Since his inception as National President, he has set very palpable standards that proved his leadership resourcefulness.

Kebbi state born Shettima was born on 1 Oct.,1968, at Dakingari, Suru Local Govt of Kebbi state.

He attended Town Primary School, Dakingari ; Govt Teachers College, Argungu respectively.

Shettima proceeded to bag his NCE in Electrical Electronics; National Diploma in Civil Engineering , and then Higher National Diploma in same discipline.

After observing the mandatory National Youth Service Corp, NYSC in Kwara state, he worked variously as : Works Superintendent, Wurnu LGA; Managing Director, Garima Petroleum ltd; MD, Garima Pharmaceuticals ; MD, Garima Refineries & Petrochemical; MD, Amarya Household Furnitures; MD, Garima Integrated Services; Garima Day to Day Boutique ; Chairman, IPMAN, Minna Depot ; Vice President, IPMAN , and then President, IPMAN, till date.

With Chieftaincy titles of Shettiman Dakingari and Jekadan Gwandu , Shettima had served as Senior Special Assistant to the Niger State Government, as a versatile accomplisher.

He is a happy family man who is equally outstanding in community affairs, apart from those of states and the nation at large.
